Getting pregnant and giving birth is the most beautiful part of women life! But, the nasty stretch marks you get after that is something that every women, including me, dread. I have been really fortunate in this department. I only got a few stretch marks on my thigh area, which are not very prominent. However, my friend who gave birth to twins has got her belly and thigh covered with stretch marks. She had tried a number of creams but all of them have proved ineffective.

Recently, I got a chance to review Tree Greens Stretch Mark & Scar Cream with Moringa Oil. This cream claims to fade stretch marks as well as old & new scars. The cream has a fruity smell mild which is refreshing! The best part about this cream is it has natural ingredients such as Shea Butter and Moringa Oil. Moringa Oil is known to be rich in cytokinins which delay the destruction of skin tissue with its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and photo-estrogen properties. Moreover, its rich in Vitamin C & E which provide potent antioxidants that protect and repair your skin. These antioxidants are needed by our boys to neutralize the oxidant effect of free radicles, which are molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Thus Vitamin C & E prevent cellular damage from occurring and boost healthy collagen production for healthy skin. Tree Greens cream also has Vitamin A which is known to increase the rate of wound healing and improves hydration.

I really wanted to see if the cream (loaded with the richness of vitamins) was actually effective incase of nasty stretch marks like my friends, so asked my friend to use the cream too. I transferred half of the cream in a small cream container and gave it to her, and the testing started!

We started by applying this cream twice daily on stomach and thigh areas. I have a wound scar on my tummy (No stretch marks though) so used it on that too! The cream works very well to keep skin moisturized. It is smooth and has a thick consistency, but is not at all greasy. It gets absorbed by the skin very well! Within 3 weeks we both started to notice the difference in the appearance of stretch marks, as well as the scar mark. My friends stretch mark started to fade, though they are still visible but not nasty anymore. My stretch mark, on thigh area has almost disappeared and the scar mark is also almost gone. Overall, I would say the cream really works, but only if you apply it religiously without fail. The only downfall which I feel is it takes a long time to completely get rid of the marks!
