Very unique and innovative blocks, based on the concept of traditional building blocks, but even more interesting and fun to play with. It will helps your kids to master the skills that lay stronger foundation for a long time learning in all subjects, especially science and maths.
My daughter, who is just 4, is head-over-heels in love with this magnetic block set. Before it’s arrival, she used to spend hours playing games or watching videos on iPad, but now she is so engaged with these blocks that she has hardly time to open her iPad, which is great! The blocks are so attractive with blight colors. Kids like them even more as, in comparison to the traditional blocks, these offer a nice change and who doesn’t like change?? huunnnn!
The first question that popped into my head when these arrive was “Are they safe for kids?”. Well, I was pleased to read they they are! Made of food grade plastic they are totally safe for kids. Even if they end up putting it in mouth no harm will come to them. The ARC Edge design ensures that kids doesn’t hurt themselves while playing with them.
The blocks come in a professionally packed box which is easy to open, hence the packaging is kids friendly. In a set there are 46 pieces: 14 triangle, 20 square, 4 hexagon, 6 number blocks, and 2 wheels. The magnets are very strong and will stick firmly to hold whatever structure your child build with them. Along with it, you also get a 28 page colourful instruction booklet that serves as a guide to help your kids understand how to use the blocks to construct, basic shapes, as well as more complicated 2D and 3D model. Now, remember to buy 2 sets instead of one, if you have a older child who would basically like to focus on 3D construction.
My verdict: I cannot recommend DBPower magnetic blocks enough! These blocks are a great way to lay stronger foundation for future learning. It will also help with spatial and mathematical thinking skills. For younger kids, it will help with shape and color recognition. You would love when your kid would think creatively and put all the imagination to build all sorts or shapes. I almost feel as if all my daughter idea come to life with these magnetic block set!
